Owning a home is one of the most important investments many families will make, but understanding the home-buying process can often feel complicated and overwhelming. La Casa de Don Pedro is committed to helping community members build financial stability and achieve their homeownership goals through education and support.
Our First Time Homebuyers Course provides participants with valuable information about every step of the homebuying journey, including budgeting, credit readiness, mortgage options, the purchasing process, and the responsibilities of homeownership. Upon completion, participants will earn a HUD-certified First Time Homebuyer Certificate, which may be required for certain homebuyer assistance programs.
This course is open to all aspiring homeowners, and Section 8 Voucher holders are strongly encouraged to participate as they explore pathways toward purchasing a home.
